The dastardly attack on the Abuja-Kaduna bound train passengers by the deadly Bandicts has been strongly condemned by the Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria.

This was contained in a letter of condolence extended to the Nigerian Railway Corporation and the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi by the ARIAN National President, Comrade Kunle Odewunmi.

Comrade Odewunmi commended the swift response and professional conducts of the men of The Nigerian Army, who quickly dispersed the terrorists and rescued the victims of the Ill-fated attack.

In his letter, Comrade Odewunmi also commended the Kaduna State government for the settlement of the medical Bills of all the victims.

In spite of the unrelenting efforts of the Federal Government’s massive infrastructure investment through its various dedicated agencies, especially, Ministry of Transportation, he said the incessant gunmen attack and other insecurity vices remain a serious threat that could plunge the nation back into stone ages era of poor infrastructure and lack of rewarding foreign Investment in the Country.

He urged all Security Apparatus in Nigeria not to relent in their efforts in getting rid of all the perpetrators of the devilish acts; synergies with one another; give more rooms to intelligent information gathering so as to sail the country to a safe security haven.

While praying for the bereaved families, He urged all road users to ensure their families are ably secured through purchase of a valid Life Assurance policy from any reputable Insurance Company through the Insurance Agents who are professionally trained and ready to offer valuable professional advise in that regards.
